Terms and Conditions
​1. General Information
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Revolve Movement ABN: 22370327695 operating as a sole trader in Brisbane. By accessing, browsing or using the website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1.2 The Therapist abides by the Association of Massage Therapists (AMT) Code of Practice.
1.3 All services provided comply with the Health Ombudsman Act 2013, Child Protection Act 1999, National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland), The Privacy Act 1988, Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011, Fair Work Act 2009, Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights, and Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017.

2. Services
2.1 The Therapist provides remedial therapy services within Club Bunker, 27b Doggett Street, Brisbane, Revolve Movement is a sole trader business within this setting.
2.2 Services are by appointment only and subject to availability.
2.3 The Therapist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

3. Dry Needling
3.1 The therapist has completed successfully the appropriate training to perform dry needling and keeps up to date with best and current practices.
3.2 Consenting to dry needling will only be done following treatment discussion, education of dry needling and the precautions. With the client showing an understanding of this information.
3.3 Complications from dry needling, although rare, are infection, dizziness, nausea, or pneumothorax (lung puncture).
3.4 Consent may be withdrawn at any point and dry needling discontinued.
3.5 Clients must be aware that it is common to have some temporary discomfort such as mild bruising, muscle aches and fatigue even the day after treatment.

4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Clients must provide a safe and suitable environment for mobile therapy sessions.
4.2 Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions before treatment.
4.3 Clients must be over 18 years of age or older.
4.4 Clients must notify the Therapist of any changes to their health status before treatment.

5. Payment and Cancellation Policy
5.1 Fees are set and communicated before the appointment.
5.2 Payment is required at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
5.3 Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a 50 AUD fee.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality
6.1 The Therapist complies with The Privacy Act 1988 and Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017.
6.2 Personal and medical information is collected for treatment purposes only and is stored securely and held for 7 years post last appointment as per the documentation policy set out in AMT Code of Practice
6.3 Client information will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
6.4 Client’s will be notified immediately if we are required to disclose personal information by law.
6.5 Client’s will be notified immediately if we experience a security breach or suspect your information may be at risk.
6.6 Clients are required to wear underwear at all times, the therapist reserves the right to take appropriate action and end the service in failure to adhere to this policy. This includes ceasing of service with full payment.
6.7 All referrals to other health providers will be done by formal letter and sent directly to the practitioner required, either at the therapist recommendation or a practitioner of the client’s choice.

7. Health and Safety
7.1 The Therapist follows the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 to ensure a safe working environment.
7.3 Infection control procedures are strictly followed.

8. Professional Conduct and Ethics
8.1 The Therapist abides by the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland).
8.2 All treatments are conducted in a professional and ethical manner.
8.3 Any form of harassment or inappropriate behaviour from the client will result in immediate termination of service and all future interactions with Revolve Movement.

9. Complaints and Disputes
9.1 Complaints should be addressed to the Therapist directly in writing via email.
9.2 If unresolved, complaints may be directed to the Office of Fair-Trading Queensland.

10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
10.1 These terms and conditions may be updated periodically to reflect legislative changes.
10.2 Clients will be notified of any significant updates.
By engaging in services with Revolve Movement, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
